751399 2009-02-25 23:46:00 Ok, so I have this bug in my LCD Monitor. It is either a little spider, or fly or something that has gone in the vent at the back! I can see a sort of dark shape crawling round, freaky it is.
I don't want to take the monitor to bits to get it out, maybe it will just have to be "death by monitor' for the bug?

Anyone else ever had it happen, and what did you do?

Cheers LL

751400 2009-02-25 23:57:00 Poor things prob cold - and the internals of the monitor are nice and warm - shouldn't really do any damage - it will either die, or leave on its own accord no doubt. wainuitech (129)

I know an old lady who swallowed a fly, I don't know why she swallowed a fly..." :D

How about putting the monitor in a dark spot (turning it off) and turning on a lamp nearby, to try to attract it out?

Friend once had an ant nest in his PC.

They fried eventually.
Or starved, who knows.

Wouldn't worry about it.

Think about what you've just said.... maybe a photo would be more appropriate than a screenshot...

We would need a "before" and "after" shot though, so he has got a point :D
