I am looking to spend about $200. the game id like to play is empire total war do you think i could play this game on high details with a graphics card within this budget? 9800? 4850? 5750? GTS 250? Any help is appreciated, thnx |

There is pretty much nothing separating these cards in performance (specific games one or the other will be slightly better, but overall . . pretty much dead even) . But be aware the 5750 has DX11 support (though that really doesn't make any difference, yet) . A few places have 4850s down around $170 at the moment, which imo is a great buy . The GTS250 is still closer to the $200 mark, so in this case I feel the 4850 is best performance per dollar . That said, if I could find a 250 for the same price . . I'd take it over the 4850 . Be aware the Total War series are not only fairly GPU-heavy, they are also quite CPU-intensive as well . |
