| 851639 | 2010-01-25 01:22:00 | Acer Aspire E650 MMX 6 computer If let sit off will turn on and run for approx 2min then will turn off and turn on & attempt to reboot, then cycles through turns off and turn on & attempt to reboot the case, cpu & video card fans are working why? is there anything I can do? |

| 851643 | 2010-01-25 04:13:00 | 1. It is a desktop 2. there are no BSOD 3. it happens even with the cover off notes: the heat sink on the cpu seems acceptable warmth but there is a silver fin type of thing on the motherboard that is almost too hot to touch |

| 851644 | 2010-01-25 05:33:00 | The chipset unit under the silver thingy can often run pretty warm, some machines have a small cooling fan on these. It could be a number of things, the power supply pass-transistor heatsink mountings for example. You probably need to let a friendly technician have a quick look. |
