752057 2009-03-01 22:41:00 Talked to the ladies next door at Bill English this morning.

She said Bill reckons its all doom and gloom too.

Thinks its a wise move for me to change back to home based work.

752058 2009-03-02 06:33:00 Sad to see pctek. But, if you have to cut costs, it is better to go home based for a while. Use your spare time if any to make a web site or do leaflet drops. It probably helps that you may be able to take current clients with you.

Good luck for the future.

Whats wrong with calling them clients? A service as well as products are supplied, of course they are clients

client

2. a customer
3. Computers a program or work station that requests data from a server [Latin cliens retainer]

752061 2009-03-02 07:26:00 Ok I will call trucking companies who drop trucks off at the workshop clients from now on.
My mistake I called them customers

Pretty well designed too.

She uses quality parts, actually repairs your computer in a reasonable amount of time......one of the better techs if you ask me;)

Only thing I don't like is-the prices of the systems. They are waaay to expensive

Correct, they are clients. Example of a customer, someone shopping at a supermarket buying only products.
Client - someone receiving a service

The price you pay to have a good quality machine built by an experienced tech who will provide you with great after sales service ;)

If you want to shop around - and use lesser brands - yes. But I just finished doing a comparison of PCT's "Performance Gaming System". I used Ascent only - because from what I've heard Helen offers equivalent service / back-up (ie rock solid). Using almost exactly same parts quoted on her system, Ascent's individual components come to $2888 (vs her $2800). And her system comes fully built with OS installed - and guarantees it's all working.

I would have gone to PCT for my recent system build - but I wanted to try building it for myself for the first time. I'd say her systems are competitively priced + (I agree with your other comment) - they are top quality components.
