751546 2009-02-26 09:06:00 They are very popular, you need to queue, just coffee, sit ins for just a few people, they all are take away cups. Well there is the standard size and then bit larger one. And, it is a soy latte what I usually have. Soy has a surcharge I think of 50c or $1.

That was my last workplace area. Not sure if that is the general pricing or what thou. Manners Mall in Wellington. Those prob know it, it is v popular.

I sometimes have it 2x a week or sometimes none for some weeks.
I pack my own lunch thou :D Food gets repeated and expensive. Ie., cafe lunches or even Subway/McD for that matter.

For instant powder Moconno is ok, I have tried some of the cheaper filter coffee from a work colleague, they taste like charcoal. Cos of that if I drink inhouse (free) I rather go for tea bags.

I bought 4 coffee's and three sit down meals today.

And then purchased the world's cheapest instant coffee on the way home to save a couple bucks.

751548 2009-02-26 09:36:00 Its the way to go hire gorgeous looking chicks. Gets males attention they will sell anything. Although other females get all jelly and bitchy at them. We got ultra tidy looking chicks driving around here for V, I thinks its because of them I am drinking lots of V vodka mix or it could be I am just an alkie.
If some 50 plus slapper made some smart remark to me I would just give it right back to her.
Some snide remark that Cic would be proud of.

I am rather surprised you actually work in one place for any length of time based on your user name and the fact that you wander.

751550 2009-02-26 19:52:00 I had no money on me so I asked, do you have eftpos for cash out. She said, that she only give it to people she knows.

Because they get charged fees.
You spend $3.50 but want a transaction for $23.50.
They lose out.

Basing myself as a international expat, the skills are not always transferable. There are also the higher standards of living and maybe my skills are not that recognised overseas to get that comparative job with that salary.

In NZ, since 2004 which was my first year working, out of uni, I have had 5 different work from a total of 4 diff workplaces / organisations.

I travel hopefully / planned, 2 or 3 international - trips are a weeks duration at offpeak to pick the deals, that is backpacker style so I can afford it and still save. I do numerous NZ weekend trips in the year so I don't use my annual leave. Ie., fly out Saturday morning and fly back Sunday evening or just drive there if it is within the 1/2 of the North Island. Ie., when I went to Sydney, I flew out Saturday 6am and I flew back Labour Day Monday arriving at Wellington at 12am. Tuesday was back to work. 8/7.30am at office. I take the bus so morning buses are quicker to city, bowl myself to work each day and have breakfast there. Get that 8hr per day ex. the lunch break and back home by 5pm.
