851573 2010-01-25 02:48:00 That is a chkdsk, not an actual hard drive diagnostic.

Grab the ultimate boot cd (www.ultimatebootcd.com) and run a hard drive diagnostic off that, if you know what brand of hard drive yours is use one for that brand, if not use either the IBM one or Sea Tools.

851574 2010-01-25 03:34:00 I would use something like ccleaner and disable this entry

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NokiaMServer] C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Nokia\MPlatform\NokiaMServer /watchfiles startup

It looks like whatever this is, its a memory hog. (one of the posts on the nokia forum it was using 150 MB). Then reboot then see what happens

851575 2010-01-25 04:07:00 Getting problem after problem here, now the pc hangs on crcdisk.sys, when i try to boot in safe mode. my original thought was drivers, but I haven't installed or changed any drivers recently. Sir Prospect (14735)
851576 2010-01-25 05:22:00 Ive finished backing up my files, I considering re-installing vista, maybe then, if its a HDD fault, it would freeze even after a clean installation, if it was software, well... it wouldn't be an issue anymore.

What do you guys think?
