753933 2009-03-06 04:05:00 Can anyone point me in the direction of a contract template designed to indemnify the seller of a product from the recommended installer either:

- stuffing up the installation of a product

or

- the installer stealing the customer, and selling product directly to them

i.e. Company X sells bathroom hardware (showers, vanities etc). Customer A visits Company X to see their range of products, and asks for a recommended builder/plumber. Company X recommends Plumber A off their list of 'trusted tradesman'.

Plumber A visits Customer A, and either stuffs up the shower installation, or poaches the customer, and supplies directly.

Sorry if this is long-winded :o

Just so that if they do a less than satisfactory job, the dispute is between the customer and the tradesman, not us.

Hope that makes sense!

Otherwise the customer may wonder why you are recommending someone that you don't trust.
