I am continually...Waiting for blah blah blah Reading blah blah blah Transferring data from blah blah blah. People can accept that some advertising helps pay the bills, but when it interferes with users enjoyment of the site they will start to drift away. I have noted that a lot of our regular posters are now conspicuous by their absence. I would not be surprised to learn that the slow-down caused by the volume of advertising has been the reason they are no longer with us. Can something be done. What will be the point of advertising if there is nobody out there to see it. |

| 753179 | 2009-03-03 21:58:00 | X 2 & X 3 For a computer help site its shocking - a person shouldn't have to resort to having ad blocking software just to get a page to load in a respectable time frame. I too have noticed many of the "regulars" are no longer here. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why. |

| 753183 | 2009-03-03 23:23:00 | waiting for inl.adbureau.net every time and it takes about 2-5 minutes to be properly loaded and even times out on occasion also wouldnt it be logical that if you were going to place HUGE ads all over t he screen that you woould have the decency to make them different? at the moment im staring at 2 "FREE CUSTOMISED TOOLBAR FOR YOUR WEBSITE!! CLICK HERE!!!" ads - i wasnt going to click on the first one so putting the exact same ad next to it wont help the problem :annoyed: |

| 753184 | 2009-03-03 23:29:00 | One of my two work computers runs no ad-blocking software as it confuses the big boss man, when I make the mistake of viewing Pressf1 from that pc and seeing the junk that saturates this page I can only be disgusted by how this site treats its visitors, especially as the forum is a port of call for people seeking advice and help. This is an example of the worst kind of site you can get, stopping short of actual malicious sites. |
