| 852577 | 2010-01-27 07:12:00 | Hello I recently upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Everything was ruining fine until I installed the Video Card Drivers. Now when I install the video card drivers the computer will reset and Blue Screen. The model of my laptop is Acer Aspire 5920G Nvida 8400m 2.2 GH dual core processor 3 GBS of Ram Now the laptop has run out of it's one year warranty and I am kicking my self for not getting the extend warranty and was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this. Thanks in advance Bartiemus. |

OR start in safe mode, click start, type in restore, select System Restore - run restore back to before the drivers were installed. Out of Interest, where did you get the Video drivers from -- according to the Acer site, there are none for that model of Laptop as they are contained within windows 7 -Driver Page (www.acer.co.nz) -- Or Screen shot of drivers (www.imagef1.net.nz)and path. BTW-- A warranty doesn't cover faulty software or drivers - only hardware. |
