Won't be going back there for the foreseeable future. (and much quicker loading than this bl**dy PressF1 site - argh!) |

| 753251 | 2009-03-04 08:22:00 | Well, I dislike the new design, for a couple of reasons... I use an old, slow 500MHz machine for most of my online stuff, and the scripts on this new page completely bog my system. Luckily Firefox gives me the option to abort these scripts. Secondly, there's even fewer links now from this front page. I seldom take the time to browse the sections, and have always just gone with whatever was deemed appropriate for the front page... which now means the two measly headlines for each section just fail to grab me at all. It's a 1 out of 10 as far as I'm concerned. Conversely though, my PressF1 seems to always load fine, and I dunno what so many others are having issues with. Even with my crippled broadband limited to dialup speed currently, it still loads ok. Dunno. Maybe an edit I did to the hosts file yonks ago has killed whatever smeg is plaguing the rest of you... can't remember what I did though to achieve that. |
