852359 2010-01-27 03:48:00 qazwsxokmijn: Where would I get a dust filter for a 80mm fan?
Also there is heaps of dust in the bottom of the case. Enough that I can write my name in it. How would i get rid of it? Slightly damp paper towel?

I use a small brush and a vacuum cleaner. Loosen the dust with the brush and at the same time suck it up with the vacuum.

If you have a brush nozzle attachment that works really well. However a brush is still good for the corners etc.

You should be able to get most of it out this way without removing anything from the case, of course if you wanted to do a full clean you'd have to remove everything anyway.

The problem with dust filters is that they reduce the airflow. A dust filter that lets air through well will also let dust through well. The only way to get good airflow with a good filter would be to put a much higher powered fan, which creates a lot of noise!

You can buy dust filters from various places. Jaycar does I think, as would most store like that (though not DSE as far as I know)

www.trademe.co.nz this person also sells them in various sizes.

852361 2010-01-27 04:47:00 dont think it will matter about airflow. This case has never had fans nedkelly (9059)

852363 2010-01-27 06:12:00 if its got rear fan locations, fill them. you don't need fast fans, slow ones will do. the important bit is that they have air blowing out of them. if you have 2 fan locations but only fit one fan, block (tape over) the other fan location.
one catch however, some cases have very poor inlets. so you may have to guess at what the inlets will flow and fit the amount and speed of fans to suit.
