1449102 2018-04-30 01:33:00 Just turned ON the TV and found that there's nothing except : No Service.

What could be the problem, TV or the antenna or ... ?

Trying to set up an old TV tuner card and it is still scanning for channels, 15 mins has gone and still nothing found.

1449104 2018-04-30 01:54:00 Update: still no channels detected from the tv tuner card. Most likely it's the antenna issue.

Anyone knows a good tv aerial installer to recommend?

Cheers

1449105 2018-04-30 03:06:00 Using remote, select "source" then with arrow key select correct source - DvD, Sky etc.
This is for Sam Sung anyway.

if its an analogue tuner card you will NEVER detect channels because they dont exist any more.
TV is now all digital. Without a compatable card, and compatable software, it wont work. & it has to be compatble with NZ's digital TV system

1449109 2018-04-30 06:35:00 Neighbours still get theirs, the aerial looks still OK outside!

There is an aerial amplifier plugged in to the TV outlet and I suggested that could be the culprit; went to R.A Russel, bought a replacement, plugged in, without joy.

1449110 2018-04-30 06:36:00 Seem we have had heaps of rain could be water has made it's way to a area it's not suppose to be around the Aerial or connection near it Lawrence (2987)
1449111 2018-04-30 09:10:00 How friendly are your neighbours? Take your TV to the nearest working TV (I'm assuming you only have one TV in your house?) and plug their aerial into your TV then you know for sure it's the aerial.
Plan-B if that's not going to work is does your TV work ok with a DVD player or recorded items, proving that the TV itself is still functioning?
