| 1448888 | 2018-04-26 02:20:00 | Just what is Ticketek presale option ? It seems like another scam. Why have 'presale' a week before normal ticket sales ? Theres a concert just announced I wanted to go to, but just as with last time, ticket scalpers will get in first and buy up most of the tickets only to resell on Ticketechs own ticket scalping scheme (Ticketek Resale) and on trademe at double or triple the price I cant understand why concert promoters allow scalpers to resell via official channels on Ticketech etc And how is it when concerts are 'sold out' , I see so many empty seats when Im at the venue . Somethings not quite right, is there some official ticket scalping going on , tickets being held back from sale to be offered up on the official reseller site ?? |

Apparently steps are being taken to stop, or at least cut down on ticket scalping, but like everything it wont happen over night. Its a total rip off, as they pointed out everyone loses, the performers, the promoters and poor bastards taken for a ride ( consumers buying over priced and often fake tickets). :( |
