| 1448350 | 2018-04-13 06:59:00 | I don't know why, but most of the videos on Stuff fail to play for me (Firefox 59 (Quantum)), even in cases where I want them to play. On the balance of things though, I'm happier for it NOT to work. The Herald is more annoying for the fact that its videos and ads will actually display correctly. |

| 1448351 | 2018-04-16 22:23:00 | If Firefox is your browser type "about:config" in the address bar, hit Enter. Search for "media.autoplay.enabled," then double-click to disable it. This only stops autoplay videos if the site checks this flag and obeys it. Sites that don't (YouTube used to be one), will still play videos. At least with Flash we had click-to-play that was a client-side "fix" for this problem. There may be HTML5 autoplay plugins for Firefox, but I haven't checked lately. |
