| 755667 | 2009-03-11 23:06:00 | Does anyone here know if you can still get teletext with free view, does the tv still need a teletext unit inside it. The teletext unit in my old tv crapped out yonks ago and its more to fix than the tvs worth. I wont get a large flattie tv until my old Sony sucks a big one. Cheers |

| 755671 | 2009-03-12 00:58:00 | The EPG is a program guide. Teletext has a lot more info as well subtitles on page 801. With Freeview the Teletext is built in to the decoder so your TV/VCR doesn't have to support it. It is only available on TV1, TV2 & TV3 as per normal. |
