A friend set up tripreunions com site for those wanting to keep in touch, he is trying to set it up a bit like the social networking sites. It only went up about 10 days ago but already a few registered there so far. Contiki, Transit, Top Deck, Autotours, Sundowners, Tracks, Trek Europa, NAT, Kamuka, Overland Encounter, Exodus and many others over the years. If the mods see this as spam please remove it. |

It details getting the bus ready in England and driving it to India and beyond. All the break downs crashes. Mega rooting going on. He sends out various trip stories every few months. |

| 755395 | 2009-03-11 02:58:00 | Yes I have come across that site before prefect, it has some good stuff. I am sure there are some fantastic stories out there, particularly from some of the trips in the 70's through to end of the 80's when there was a lot more leniency for crew taking out trips. Some of the driving laws now are very restricting indeed. A couple of books I have read, Top Deck Daze and No Sex on the Bus, both had some good stories in them about bus trips. Having driven for 3 years myself, I have seen a lot of funny things and had a lot of fun. |
