The airline said it had also started a pricing and marketing campaign in Britain, with special return London-Auckland fares for �A3;571 ($1626). $1626 return London-Auckland-London. You can bet your life we'll be paying alot more for the same flights Auckland-London-Auckland. So it costs us Kiwis almost the same amount to fly halfway to the UK and back as it does for someone in the UK to fly half way around the WORLD and back. Air New Zealand are clearly ripping us off. Didn't they get a helping hand from the NZ taxpayer a few years ago? |

The conditions may be diff over there to attract people, on the news I did hear that AirNZ have provided $2,000 return fares NZ - London. Also, have a look at their auctions, they are generally for 2 or more people for mid week travels and early departure from time of auction you could score 2x tickets to Japan for say $600/person return. |
