In a few years you will train wreck your life by getting a stink job, getting married and having kids, getting a mortgage for a house you can barely afford.
When I was single I had my own house and got flatmates in to pay mortgage (1 chick was a not so flat flatmate). If it was a choice between booze and food well guess what missed out. There is a steak equivalent in every glass of beer anyway.

Live on that for a month, And doesn't eat into your beer money.

Is that even possible?

We should learn a few recipes from metla

755519 2009-03-11 21:09:00 I am currently still a student .5th year at uni.I must say I have never been a party,go out drinking ,entertainment etc.

I believe its a cultural and a personal thing. All I see are students getting drunk having s... with the girl last night and all these talk about having S.. with their gfs makes me wonder the nice social times we had way back 10 years ago.

I still go out with friends watch a movie casually, have a steak meal from time to time but I don't feel that I regret going out partying, drinking every night

Just not my cup of tea.I guess just do what you find is fun but have limits of your spending

755521 2009-03-11 21:22:00 You bet its a cultural thing. My wife is Singaporean and is horrified with bells on when I recount what went on in my house before I got married.
She estimates I spent 10,000s on grog, it was the best money I ever spent I reckon because of the friends I still have. I think they call it networking now days.

10,000s <- is that all. I am sure I would be a multi millionaire by now if I had not wasted so much on booze when I was young.

But yes it was fun, what I remember of it.

755526 2009-03-12 04:55:00 Its easy flatting working and studying, i think majority of young people are broke anyway regardless of what your doing. drink within your budget and then just a little bit more to numb the pain of havin no money hueybot3000 (3646)
