755508 2009-03-11 09:38:00 I agree, no parties, no eat outs incl lunch. No dessert. Then one would find that laundry powder, shaving cream would cost one of the most.

Re: working sure, depends how flexible your work is of course, not sure what course you are doing. My manager does after work MBA course at the University. She works 7am - 4pm. Gets up at 5am each day.

One grain of salt.

3 or 4 grains of curry powder. Rub a clove of garlic over both sides.
Wipe in butter & coat with flour.
grill for 30 secs each side.

That's nothing. When I was a student, we lived in a shoebox and ate sand...

We used to 'ave to get up out of shoebox at twelve o'clock at night and lick road clean wit' tongue. We had two bits of cold gravel, worked twenty-four hours a day at mill for sixpence every four years, and when we got home our Dad would slice us in two wit' bread knife.

Wot no protein?

And I hope you throw some greens in occasionally?

(One of my penniless student friends got old-fashioned scurvy after a long-term diet of little more than rice & cheap white bread)
