756867 2009-04-20 12:32:00 Why the hell is this thread still here?

Seeing as it's still here, I'll ask a question I asked in another spam thread which got deleted.

Is there not some sort of spam filter that can be used on forum software? Like an email spam filter, that detects spam and bans the person that tried to post it?

756870 2009-04-20 22:52:00 I need a shirt that says "I dont do mornings".

That said, if I *was* wearing it, nobody would be able to tell the difference ;)

756871 2009-04-20 23:59:00 Never been impressed with handbrake.

Though I recently had to find an app for encoding to PSP and out of the half dozen I tried Handbrake came out best, except it choked on more then half of my DVD's that I tried, No doubt due to copy protection.

Anyway, Its a good tool for what it does but poor as a complete suite, it requires more powerful apps to make up for its shortfalls.

Also requires .net to be installed as well, which is a shame, no doubt in a few months I'll un-install it all.

756872 2009-04-21 01:55:00 Yeah the .net is a PITA, but it works from the command-line without if you *really* object. Lots of apps seem to require it these days. I'd rather have that installed than Java, but that's just me.

Use an app that gets rid of the copy protection and its brilliant, especially for converting stuff that I've already got as a video file on my HDD :)
