| 855776 | 2010-02-06 02:49:00 | Hi. Have started assembling my new PC. Asus P7P55D-E Evo motherbard. The 8 pin power connector on the m/b has a removable cap covering 4 of the pins. The M/b manual says to connect the 8 pin plug (as well as the 24 pin one) or it won't boot. The diagram shows 8 pins. The psu has both 4 and 8 pin connectors. So do I remove the cap and fit the 8 pin connector, or leave it in place and use the 4 pin? |
