Hey I was wondering what would be a good temperature for P4 2.86 with HT? |

haha I thought that. I was looking at the temp yesterday while sitting at the desktop with nothing open and it was around 45. Had it up to 50 when I had outlook open. |

When it shuts off thats when you do something about it. This is a 2.8, but a dual core. It hangs around 41-42. So, I wouldnt worry about it. Are you talking about CPU temp, or CPU usage, with OL? |

You'll soon find out it'll shut off if it gets too hot / high. Wouldnt worry if it hangs around 45-50 |

Go to Intels site and find out. I would say anything up to 65c would be alright.

Your readings are quite normal for that processor. |
