| 855534 | 2010-02-05 03:18:00 | Would this be the best way of making sure you are the only one to see what's in Outlook Express? Before you do anything make sure you know your password and write it down somewhere - HINT - in a secret place!!!! If you've forgotten it, you may have written it on any paperwork you got from xtra.co.nz when you signed up with them. Open OutExpress 1 clk on TOOLS - a list will drop down 1 clk on accounts - 2nd from bottom 1 clk on MAIL 1 clk on account to highlight it. 1 clk on properties 1 clik on servers Untick box "Remember password." You should be asked to enter your password each time you want to use Outlook Express. OR would it be easier to do it through the Manage Identities (under File) area? Thanks. |

If you password your identity it will stop your OE identity opening unless the password is entered. You would need to make sure you log out of your identity each time though. |

| 855538 | 2010-02-05 07:21:00 | Thanks - it's not for me but a friend whose employer and other employees on the high country sheep station, at times have access to the computer. Her daughters each have their own laptop. The easier way is not, in this case, easy! I'll pass on your comments. | katharinem (3459) | ||
