855397 2010-02-04 19:58:00 Hello,
I'm looking for help with a sli connection.
I have a Motherboard Asus M3N78-EM, and the manual reads that it is
Nvidia Hybrid Sli Technology.
My Video card is GeForce 9500 series. On the card box, it reads
Nvidia SLI Ready. The on-board video card is Nvidia GeForce 8300.
I followed the manual steps to install the needed drivers for SLI, but no joy.
Are the video cards compaiable, or am I going wrong somewhere?
I am running Vista as per the manual. Is it a driver problem?
Thank for any help that I can get,
Lance.

855398 2010-02-04 20:12:00 Nvidia dropped all support for Hybrid SLI except on laptops.

It wouldn't have made much difference performance wise anyway, you want better gaming performance, just upgrade the graphics card.

855399 2010-02-04 20:16:00 According to the ASUS site

According to the spec on your website, this motherboard supports Hybrid SLI function. But I can't find a related option to enable this function in BIOS.
How do I enable Hybrid SLI function?

If your system meets the following requirements, there is no need to adjust option in BIOS. You can simply enable Hybrid SLI function in Hybrid SLI driver control panel.
The minimum requirements:
1. At least 2G memory.
2. A VGA card that supports Hybrid SLI function.
3. The OS should be Windows Vista.

The mobo has HDMI/VGA/DVI on it

Which will be the problem if Nvidia stopped the support with their drivers.
