854797 2010-02-02 23:55:00 Hi All.

I scanned some old documents into the computer into a folder of their own. They are JPG. I used MS Picture Manager to crop, etc, them then made a "b" copy. I then put the "b" copies into another folder.

I brought up the drop down box with Send To Email Recipient, attached the whole "b" folder, & sent them to the UK.

He cannot open them. Any suggestions? Thanks. PJ.

854798 2010-02-03 00:01:00 Either send them one by one or zip them. It may work then Speedy Gonzales (78)
854799 2010-02-03 00:17:00 You say you made 'b' copies PJ?
Did you put the 'b' before or after the . in the file name?
If it's after that'll be your problem.

854802 2010-02-03 00:27:00 Is it .Ink or .lnk (lower case L)?

Could well be .lnk.

Can I change this to something else. PJ

854804 2010-02-03 00:43:00 No, if you sent them the link it is not the file, just a pointer to the file.
Just attach the originals and resend, they won't disappear from your system if that's
what you are worried about.

I know I can send a file from the folder. There are 20 files in this folder. I was trying to send the lot, in the folder, at once. PJ

There are 5 folders to send. pj

854806 2010-02-03 01:02:00 So why rename them with the 'b'?
Just right click on the folder, select send to>Compressed(zipped) folder
then email the zipped folder.
