854769 2010-02-02 23:40:00 Have just purchased a Toshiba Satellite A500 – W7 Home Pro - it says it has Bluetooth but cannot install a Logitech Bluetooth Mouse M555b.
Downloaded the W7 24bit drivers but when click on the Bluetooth Connection Assistant – nothing happens.
Have never used Bluetooth – what am I doing wrong here?!
Thanks

Thanks

854776 2010-02-03 01:37:00 is there a switch on the front of the laptop to turn on/off the wireless?

have a look at this (answers.yahoo.com)

namely CHIEFY_FAN's answer

854777 2010-02-03 02:05:00 According to the laptop specs – “Integrated Bluetooth™ V2.1 + EDR (Enhanced Data) Rate”
There is a switch on the front – on and off and is for the wifi. Can find nothing in the CP about Bluetooth – or at least on the main listings.
Thanks

854778 2010-02-03 05:44:00 Did windows install a driver for it?? Did you pair it? Whatever software you installed for the mouse, did you make sure its discoverable?? Go to control panel, and devices and printers. Select add a device. See if it can find it. Wifi isnt BT BTW Speedy Gonzales (78)
