| 757035 | 2009-03-18 17:11:00 | Is it just me, or is anyone else disgusted when they see fat people in fast food places? No - I am disgusted when I see them anywhere, especially in the supermarket. I feel like saying do you need any more food ? And I am not talking about people with a small beer pot (I have a small one) but obviously overweight people. Have you noticed how their skin is very often red and blotchy ? What really annoys me about them, aside from it looking terrible is that they are a drain on our health services, and they will become unemployable so they will be a drain on our social welfare (our taxes). And then they want a stomach stapling operation (once again at our cost) to loose the weight they should have lost themselves using will power, and not getting fat in the first place. |

You're using (poor) rationalisations to justify your treatment of obesity as a moral issue. That's wrong - it isn't a moral issue. Thin people are not morally better than fat people. Some thin people like to judge others by their bodies and feel superior about themselves. That's just sad. |
