| 756544 | 2009-03-15 08:33:00 | Depends what you buy I guess. I find Woolworths more expensive. And the New World I go to doesn't bother with coupons - they just match Woolworths prices or better. As for Pak n Slave - well funnily enough I don't find them much cheaper at all. Again - it depends what you fill your trolley up with. And don't mention the queues in there. The queues at Park n Spend are because the prices are all rock bottom low all the time. There wouldn't be a far queue if they weren't the cheapest around. There would be tumble weeds rolling through the checkouts. like Woolworths. Biggest problem for a alkie like me is you cant buy plonk at the Supermarkets here. I gotta go over the County line to Blockhouse Bay Countdown and buy cheap grog there. |

| 756546 | 2009-03-15 08:50:00 | I'm sure I'm not the only one sick and tired of doing the supermarket shopping, getting to the checkout and being asked "Have you got your Flybuys?", "Have you got your OneCard?" etc etc If you don't like shopping in the supermarket, get someone else to do it or shop on line. Here in the UK one supermarket has a loyalty system, But the points are based on how much you spend...the more you spend the more points you get. No dual pricing at all. |

It's all factored in Well over the years we have looked at all the super markets in our area ( and still do), guess what - 99% of the time Pak N Save is the cheapest over all. So I guess that blows your theory of shopping at the higher end places. As its been mentioned AGAIN - if you dont like the shop then go someplace else - no ones stopping you. As for Pak n Slave - well funnily enough I don't find them much cheaper at all Heres an example of being not quite right: On Friday Countdown - 12 pack of Tuis bottles $20 and a few cents. Pak N Save - $13. and some cents. |

You can't pick on one item and say they are significantly cheaper overall. It depends what you put in your trolley. Fill it up with beer and junk food that you probably live on then yeah, I bet they are cheaper. But then I already said that and shouldn't have to repeat just for your benefit. |

This week it is. Just remember, don't hate the checkout staff. We hate it as much as the next guy. Probably even more, actually. Now I'm going to have queues of pissed off customers. |
