| 855607 | 2010-02-06 03:47:00 | Doubt thats the answer. Since I've never heard of it. And I doubt everyone who's getting this end program message uses it I agree, I've never heard of it and I don't have it installed as an add-on yet I still get the problem... so I'm inclined to think that this isn't the cause of the issue. So in Speedy's defense I think there is more to the problem than we all may be led to believe... and this is what he is inferring by his statement. Speedy, Your smugness and mister know-it-all attitude will prevent you from reaching your full potential in life. As far as Speedy's smugness and mister know-it-all attitude... quite frankly he's earned the right here on PF1.... there is no-one more helpful than him on here. Just about everyone here as been given sound advice and/or help from Speedy with great results. |

| 855609 | 2010-03-01 08:07:00 | I am having the same problem with the ever illusive program n and it is irritating me to no end. This thread is the only one to come close to an answer, although I never installed ghostery into firefox in the first place. I ran Malwarebytes and it came back clean. | 855610 | 2010-03-02 06:15:00 | Don't know if this is going to help anyone but I have done the following and I haven't gotten the error since. I have the following extensions installed; 1) Adblock Plus 1.1.3 2) Download Helper 4.7 3) Java Quick Starter 1.0 4) MS .NET Framework Assistant 1.1 5) PC Sync 2 Synchronisation Extenstion 1.0.0.723 6) Winamp Toolbar 5.6.11.2 I have disabled all but 1, 3, and 4 and have not gotten an error. The memory usage for Firefox has also stopped creeping to like 200MB+ if I leave the browser open. This may not fix the issue for everyone, obviously depending on what you have/have not got installed, but it seems to have worked for me. Cheers, |
