856646 2010-02-09 09:17:00 My son is after a capture card so he can import gameplay video from his XBox 360 onto the PC, and then edit it and upload it to You Tube (or where-ever).
He is looking at this one

www.ifocus.co.nz

Has anyone used this brand/model, or can suggest any alternatives?
Thanks.

Any particular one, for the useage mentioned?

856649 2010-02-09 17:35:00 Yeah +1 for those thoughts.

Other than that, I wouldn't bother with capturing it in HD. Especially if it's just going to YouTube.
Something like this is better value-for-money IMO: pbtech.co.nz

...but I'm cheap :p

They have plenty of models that will do the job, I would pick one that fits the budget.

856651 2010-02-09 22:29:00 Another alternative, depending on if the games even save to the hard drive, is to get something that goes between the Xbox's HDD and the Xbox itself.

A friend of mine had one, he could export his Halo 3 videos straight off the hard drive and directly edit them on his computer.
