856282 2010-02-08 06:17:00 Never tried N.O.L.F. 2 on Vista before, just tried now and I'm getting crashing often and occasional graphical corruption (single objects scrunched into a mess of polygons\missing textures)

Seen on other forums people saying they have issues with it on Vista as well (though not the same ones) some say audio doesn't work (though mine is OK) but almost everyone says they get crashing.

I have the latest retail patch, just wondering if there was a known fix for the problems?

All other games running have been fine

Do you get the graphics problem with any other games or just this one?

856284 2010-02-08 20:55:00 It's the only game that gets issues, nothing else has had graphical corruption or anything.

I applied only one patch, a v1.0\v1.2 to v1.3 patch (upgrades either version to v1.3) Maybe I will try a reinstall and then patch like in that thread.

But I don't get the same problem as that other person, the game never freezes for a few minutes and then resumes, it just crashes.

If I see corruption, I know it will crash soon. However I can prevent it by minimizing the game and then going back in, at which point the corruption will have gone and the game won't crash.

Sometimes I see a "nvlddmkm has stopped responding and has successfully recovered" message...

I'd install Win 7.

856286 2010-02-08 21:44:00 I'll try that hotfix listed there first, looks like it might help (I hope!) Agent_24 (57)
856287 2010-02-09 06:10:00 Guess I already have it through SP2... (wouldn't install, told me it didn't apply) Agent_24 (57)
