855856 2010-02-06 21:09:00 My 17" crt monitor is showing signs of old age.

What is the best "biggest possible modern" replacement flat screen monitor for $300 or less.

Big is best with my eyes.

I am not a gamer, office work only.

Cheers.

855857 2010-02-06 21:28:00 Big LCD's and cheap dont always go together, but in saying that - I have sold a lot of the 22" wide screen Viewsonic VX2240W's ( and use them here on allour PC's) as Shown Here from Ascent (www.ascent.co.nz) $284.00 There are a few around the 300 area, have a look at the prices (www.ascent.co.nz)

Edited: the Actual Viewing Area on the 2240W = 475 Wide x 295 High

855858 2010-02-06 21:30:00 You wont get the biggest for 300. You may get a 22-23 in LCD Speedy Gonzales (78)

855861 2010-02-07 21:39:00 Hi
Thanks for those web sites Wainuitech.
The VX2240 looks good.
Do you or any one else have a view on the VX2433 (24" at $294) ?

What is the difference between the VX2240w and the VX2240wm ?

Cheers
