759315 2009-03-28 04:30:00 I'm sure prior to this fiasco we would have had no problem getting a few comments from a female presenter about the "attractiveness" of a mans hairy back.

No one would have given a damn, still wouldn't.

759316 2009-03-28 06:01:00 Very commendable to try and use reason with the unreasonable,I have tried on many occasions, completely without success.

Will I ever learn,I doubt it.!

759317 2009-03-28 23:03:00 A presenter no one knows on a show no one watches gets some publicity for himself, I think he'll be quite pleased with all the fuss. Twelvevolts (5457)

759319 2009-03-29 01:24:00 Otago University Gender Studies head Annabel Cooper said Henry's comments were discourteous.

She said anything that appeared to blur the distinction between genders, including facial hair on a woman, caused a lot of social anxiety, explaining some of the responses.

These people teach our children, hence the excessive twerpage on here.

759323 2009-03-29 06:02:00 Come on guys, some of you have had your fun. The woman, who's personal appearance was the subject of Paul Henry's statement, has apparently risen above it. No matter what you may think of her, or her stance, that is very much to her credit.
Let's hope he doesn't stoop to pointing out such things as acne, freckles, large noses, ears etc, when they really have nothing to do with an item. I wonder how some of us would like having our personal appearance commented on, specially on nationwide tv. He can do some very good interviews and make applicable and often lighthearted comments, without adding unnecessary extras.
