758050 2009-03-22 00:13:00 Just move the ads to the bottom of the page so you have to scroll down to see them (unless the ad server is going slow again) - that won't affect the statistics. Greven (91)
758051 2009-03-22 01:14:00 3 months.

Can we also make it so particular threads aren't locked at all? (like the fridge thread, free drugs/rock and roll one, lets have a party etc etc)

758052 2009-03-22 02:44:00 Yeah, maybe threads over a certain amount of viewings are not locked? Blam (54)
758053 2009-03-22 04:02:00 I wonder how long it'd take the FFBM powers-that-be to notice? :D If the time frame is consistent - the same amount of time it takes to get the color picker fixed ----- Ewwww low Blow :p wainuitech (129)
758054 2009-03-22 06:34:00 Awesome - thanks for this guys.

758055 2009-03-22 10:23:00 Can we also make it so particular threads aren't locked at all? (like the fridge thread, free drugs/rock and roll one, lets have a party etc etc)We can only exclude entire forums or stickied threads, not individual normal threads. As long as your favourite thread is kept active within the set time period, it won't be auto-closed. Mods can also re-open threads on request.

And no, I am not going to sticky the fridge thread.

Yeah, maybe threads over a certain amount of viewings are not locked? This wouldn't work as the threads with many viewings are often the ones dragged up from the dead (Google loves us ).

758056 2009-03-23 21:06:00 Cursed be the Yaboo! Slurp Spiders! :ban Will their spying activity keep a post alive?

If we just view it looking for outdated or antique info, them it's gonna stay at least readable if not post-able?

Will it go away if you don't at least view it or does it actually have to get some new input to keep it alive? :waughh:

What I find somewhat painful is wading through or waiting for a post that has many many posts to get to the end to see the latest addition. :illogical

758057 2009-03-24 02:50:00 Reading a post is not enough from keeping it unlocked. You have to POST in it to keep it open. :) pcuser42 (130)
758058 2009-03-27 06:23:00 Thanks for the feedback guys - 3 months it is.

Remember closed threads can be re-opened if required - just PM a Mod with this request.
