856369 2010-02-10 20:56:00 If you are not overclocking why not use a stock CPU cooler? Sweep (90)
856370 2010-02-10 23:15:00 Im not sure why people are getting 80gb SSD.
Win7+games will fit on a $240 40gb SSD then get a 1.5tB HDD ? Or is win7 larger than I think

856373 2010-05-01 11:27:00 So did you manage to fit the heatsink and all 12 Gigs RAM? Sweep (90)

For now no, its got the stock cooler on it, but as I was thinking about it later I realized the mounting bracket is a square, it means I will have to rethink my push/pull fan ideas to get it working but it might fit if rotated 180 degrees. Going to play with it tomorrow.

856375 2010-05-01 23:34:00 You can take off the fins on the Dominators, did you know that? qazwsxokmijn (102)
856376 2010-05-02 00:08:00 Oh and btw, pictures or it's all a lie!!! qazwsxokmijn (102)
856377 2010-05-02 00:09:00 I didn't know that.
I have reinstalled the shadow the other way and it fits fine but the fins are still in the way of the push/pull fan.

Removing them might just give it enough clearance.
Trouble is, I do not have anything that will fit those little black screw things.

856378 2010-05-02 02:07:00 With qaz's suggestion everything now fits.

This is the motherboard with the Mega Shadow fitted to begin with, you can clearly see it is covering two ram slots.
