757984 2009-03-20 03:49:00 pay an additional $5.00 a month to their ISP and the ISP sent the money from this sur-charge to the RIAA and let them deal with the paying out to the bands each month

You're funny

What are you doing the second you open your browser?

That is downloading...your ISP charges you monthly for "downloading" news groups and websites.

Use common sense here ok, if Napster had 16 million users x5 is still a constant each month and if you are too cheap to fork out the 5 bucks then go to your jack and unplug your pc/network from the internet and pay nothing for nothing and then when you want to go online pay an hourly rate with the 5 bucks surcharge added to your bill, either way something logical has to be done and all you who moan about what is what and doing nothing but flapping, just sit on the fence and moan, just don't cry when they knock on your door and take your computer/computers away and charge you more than 5 bucks a month as well as time behind bars.

Which would you choose?

5 bucks a months sounds better to me.
