760717 2009-03-30 05:06:00 As I make my own bread (!) I sent my 'other half' off this morning to buy me some wheat. He couldn't get it. Our usual supplier doesn't have any just now.

I need to be able to buy a small amount (under 500g), not a whole bag off the header! I actually want kibbled wheat, but I found that it was cheaper to buy just ordinary wheat and kibble it in the coffee grinder...Bulgar wheat is different - doused in hot water and then chopped up. Kibbled is just chopped up.

In Invercargill would be great. :)

You're obviously not a country lad - read 'header'! (combine harvester to some). :)

Although I dare say 'country lads' like 'weed' these days too!

Yes :(

However, Binn Inn all good. Lots of wheat, kibbled and unkibbled! And lots of other things too. I'm now looking forward to 'Dried pig's ear stew'... :banana
