760031 2009-03-27 09:04:00 I recently found a very useful software called RadarSync (http://www.radarsync.com/), it seems to be the only peice of freeware that can update all the drivers on a PC automatically. Its works very well, I tested it on 3 pcs, hope you save a bit of time using this peice of freeware:thumbs:

It does however occasionally miss some updates, but for bigger manfacturers such as Intel/Ati etc it works well with.

Cheers
Blam

P.S Hopefully this doesn't sound like spam:p

760032 2009-03-27 19:11:00 Thanks Blam. Will try it later today.

PCWorld review of RadarSync HERE (www.pcworld.com).

PCMag review HERE (www.pcmag.com).

The free version does not have automatic updates but otherwise seems OK.

760034 2009-03-27 20:51:00 SECUNIA SOFTWARE INSPECTOR is different to RADAR SYNC in that it deals
with all prrograms installed on your PC. It runs in the background and
reports on any programs added or uninstalled. Also informs you of any
software that is end-of-life, insecure or needs patching, with a direct link
to download patches and other options. I have been using this for a few months and highly commend it to all PC users - I'm sure you will agree
if you try it - keeps your system up to date.
RADAR SYNC is also useful but deals only with installed drivers. A similar
utility is DRIVER DETECTIVE.
I make full use of all 3 FREE programs, which, combined with my antivirus, spyware and cleaning/optimise software keep my system running at best
expectations.

760035 2009-03-28 23:57:00 Been using both (as well as Driver Detective) for ages, they're all good although as stated Secunia is only focussed in security related updates. Twelvevolts (5457)
