857141 2010-02-10 22:09:00 Hi All.

Have got word 2003.XP Home SP3.

On my desktop I have a folder Icon. When I open it I have a screen with 24 sub-folders. I want to place them in the order that suits me, not random as they are.

When I click & drag a sub-folder icon, the space it leaves immediately fills up with another icon, which I did not select, at random.

I would like to move an icon & leave a space, then put in the Icon that I want there. Any advise? PJ

857143 2010-02-10 22:16:00 This is not a function of Word.

Right click the Desktop, Arrange icons is probably set to Auto. Change this to Align to grid and then park them where you want.
