It has been instructive to be around this place because I have gained an insight into the fact that there is a whole section of NZ society that is not too different from the sheet wearers in the Southern States who lynched blacks from the nearest tree. It is also increasingly obvious that a NZ Hitler would find it easy to gain recruits around this place. I don't know whether it has something to do with being around computers or not, but I have never come across such a concentrated source of hate anywhere in a community before than I have seen in this forum. Many of you seem to think that the reason so many good people have left this forum is the Fairfax ads. Personally, I think it is because of the politics of the place. You can do something about the ads, but you sure can't do anything about the politics of bias and smugness. :lol: You must be part of a moniority that thinks murderers and rapists should have it sweet, in saying that you must be into what you just wrote. |

Justice should be about what the victim (or their family) thinks and feels about the judge's sentence, not some self appointed outsider. As I noted, Mr Aim showed a great deal more maturity about the death of his daughter and the sentence imposed than any of the rabid mob posting in this thread. What planet are you on John H? |
