762014 2009-04-03 08:12:00 I can'tget anything to download. The "Loading" message goes on and on ....
I've filled in the Help thingy, read the FAQs..... no reply.
I assume that some setting in my anti-virus is blocking the download.
Anyone got any suggestions?

762015 2009-04-03 08:15:00 Disable your anti-virus and then try? roddy_boy (4115)
762016 2009-04-03 08:23:00 What browser are you using? Do you have any ad-blocking plugins/software? somebody (208)
762017 2009-04-03 08:27:00 If you use ad blockers they will block the video ad which is displayed before the main video loads, and because of this, the main video will never load. Agent_24 (57)
762018 2009-04-03 08:38:00 Make sure you don't have Noscript or Adblock+ blocking the flash video.

You are on broadband right?....

762019 2009-04-03 09:22:00 I'm using IE7 and Avast! and yes I am on Broadband.
So how/where do I disable adblocking?

762020 2009-04-03 10:19:00 Well if youre using IE 7 you dont its not blocked.

Or if flash isnt installed, install it

Avast shouldnt be blocking it, as I'm using it, and its fine

762021 2009-04-03 23:27:00 If you are using a downloaded pre-compiled HOSTS file, then the odds are that it will block TVNZ OnDemand.

I have a little program from somewhere called renHosts.bat which enables convenient enabling/disabling of the Hosts file for sites like the TVNZ one.

I find AdblockPlus with Firefox does not block TVNZ, it is an ad site somewhere in the hosts file that causes blocking.

I've tried your suggestion, doesn't make any difference.
