When I open F1 in IE8 and click on "Forums" and then click on "PC World Chat" the page starts to load and stalls. I then get a warning -

Adobe Flash Player 10
A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 10 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script.

I click on "Yes" and the page loads instantly.

At the bottom of the page it always stalls when it states - "Waiting for pagead2.google syndication.com pagead 2 I dont know if this is relevant or not to the problem.

I uninstalled Flash Player 10 and reinstalled but this has not made any difference. The problem does not occur everytime, but more often than not.

Any clues as to how to overcome this annoying problem??

Thanks Smithie

Come on johcar... nothing wrong with IE. At least people know of their bugs, not like Firefox where they just quietly patch them.

761506 2009-04-01 08:38:00 I reckon its the ads.

get IE7Pro and block the ad servers.

Have downloaded IE7 Pro and hopefully that will solve the problem.
