858487 2010-02-14 22:38:00 Does a PS3 have the option to block the internet access at certain times - Eg: 11.00pm - 8am, Monday to Friday. Had a quick look but couldn't see anything obvious.

I know it can be set to a static IP address, and the router to configured to block that IP at certain times, BUT the Belkin N1 Router the person owns has a very non custom-able setup to block an IP address, and only 5 input boxes.

Eg: Monday 11.00pm - Tuesday 8am, next line, Tuesday 11.00PM - Wednesday 8.00am etc

PS: Router has the latest Firmware as well.

858488 2010-02-14 23:12:00 Not that I'm aware of, never seen it in the setup, and I have been through the menus many times. plod (107)
858489 2010-02-14 23:57:00 I've never seen any way to do with with the PS3, other than the already-mentioned IP-based policy on the router. Sorry :( inphinity (7274)
858490 2010-02-15 01:30:00 The Linksys WAG320N certainly has that capability :) :) Zippity (58)

Never mind hes come up with a better solution -- if the kid doesn't get off the net when hes told he's going to flick the fuse on the fuse board and kill the power to the PS3.
