| 858091 | 2010-02-13 21:16:00 | Just been given a Toshiba Sat Pro Laptop to play with. I know stuff all of the details of this laptop but it is running Windows7 Pro with 2GB of ram. First time I have had anything to do with Win7 so I am struggling a little, got a lot of it sussed. The Question_How much Ram can this laptop take and what would be a good suggested amount. It takes I think DDR3 ? and a quick search of the net suggests that this model could take upto 8gb ? Seems to go ok, some teething issue's that I am working through, biggest issue hence the question about how much Ram is that installing updates takes for ever. Thanks to Toshiba, there is a roll back CD to convert the laptop to WinXP but I would rather keep it on Win7 so I can have a play with this new operating system. |
