As per battleneter question, did the CPU usage spike.

To be even more precise, click start, type in Resource Select Resource Monitor when its going slow, look at the options and see what process ( may be more than one) is sucking the power.

858524 2010-02-15 02:55:00 Look in the BIOS / the manual and see if its got it. Or turn the computer off unplug it then see if its faster. Then you'll know if thats causing it to go slow Speedy Gonzales (78)
