760810 2009-03-31 00:05:00 No... Deane's coments are as valid as anyone else's. He's entitled to air his views just like anyone else.

Just as it's my God-given right to bash my baby's head in with a blunt instrument and refuse to speak to Police about it for weeks on end.

760811 2009-03-31 00:13:00 It may not be your god-given right - but the burden of proof rests on the State.

You have the right to remain silent. It is up to the State to prove if it is them doing the accusing.

760812 2009-03-31 00:22:00 But as a "human" (supposedly) shouldn't these people at least show a bit of remorse/understanding of what they've done/sympathy for their victims?

None of the mongrels paraded on TV lately have shown any appreciation for the damage they've done.
Does Baily-whatever show any remorse - with his behaviour towards reporters, cameramen and his girlfriend? (btw - how the **** did that thing attract a "girlfriend"?)

None of them... baby-bashers, tourist murderers/rapists/ whatever... none of them give a **** about what they've done.

That alone shows they'll never change.
Push the damn lot over a cliff, along with any do-gooder tree-huggers who think society has "let them down".....

760813 2009-03-31 03:10:00 I think Baily should be put in a mental institution for the rest of his life.
:)

Possibly. But there again the Government of the day has closed many such places. Added to that you have to prove insanity as a defence. Bailey is just using the system as it currently stands. Much like who people use the law for their own benefit like a Police Officer who avoided a conviction by a technical defence.
