There are members who have joined and never made a post. I found a member here who joined on 26-07-2006 but the page had been visited 1,1165 times presumably by bots. Just go look at the member list. Zero posts but is a member. I did not bother voting but for the record I have been around here for some time. |

What I am saying is why have a Poll in the first place. A poll means nothing unless worded in a manner which allows all possible options. For instance there could have been an option like "I do not know" or "I'm not sure" or "I think I know but I'm not going to tell you" or whatever. As to your accusation that I complicate things. well I guess that is your opinion. It is a complex world in which we live whether we like it or not. |

It's a simple poll, and it doesn't mean anything other than what it looks like on the surface - i.e. a place for those who wish to indicate how long they have been a member here. The poster of the poll is free to word their options how they see fit, provided they comply with the rules - there is no rule as yet which says every poll must be obsessively tweaked to cater to pedantic conspiracy theorists and excessively stupid users. Nor is there anything requiring the poll to generate statistically accurate results. |
