858024 2010-02-22 02:35:00 Yep good on you, stay the hell away from the WAG160N.

My Netcomm NB6Plus4WN hasn't missed a beat. :punk I wonder how Sol got on with his one?

858025 2010-02-22 02:45:00 Linksys WAG160N or the WAG320N :)

And not the WAG320N either. While it is dual band, it is not simultaneous dual band.

Hi Wrat, havent heard anything bad yet, so thats good!'Just bought another set...TP Link w\ adapter (pci), wireless G, $164 for set...for my niece. She is home with my Mum and Dad, so had to sort her a little PC for her room, the old man was stressing that he couldnt play his card games.....LOL

Unit arrived today. Took me 20 minutes to unpack it, install and connect 3 PC's and 1 Laptop to the network:cool: The range is good we now have strong connectivity for the laptop throughout the whole house, 4 walls and 30m away. only been running 3 hours so can say how stable or not.
So...
Thank you all for the advice:wub

I would give you more specs on speed etc if I knew where to look, so there's testimony for how easy to install it was - If a noob like me can do it anyone can.
I recommend Alpha City too, their communication was great, and service prompt. I'll be using them again.

Netcomm NB6Plus4WN Rocks :banana

858031 2010-02-24 18:39:00 Good stuff :-)

Speed specs are more to do with your internet line speed rather than your physical modem, however if you do a comparison between two different modems on the same broadband line, you'll find that the NB6Plus4WN comes out pretty much on top in terms of squeezing out all the juice from the broadband line that it can.

Great to hear it's worked out so well for ya :)
