| 762424 | 2009-04-05 06:10:00 | Greetings!, I have just had an application developed which routes SMSes to a website and I need to attach a GSM modem or a phone with a GSM modem built into it to accept incoming the SMSes. I bought a Nokia 3110c to do this as I could not find the model the developer requested, now he doesn't know if this model I bought has a GSM modem built in. Does anybody know? Has anybody used it before? Other details of the phone: Model: 3110c Type: RM-237. Thanks. |

| 762425 | 2009-04-05 06:56:00 | I thought many GSM phones are inbuilt modem by the way they are. All you need is maybe a cable to the computer or simply just use wireless IR or bluetooth and do whatever you want, these days the drivers are downloadable from nokia.com for free. Not sure what you are doing or how to do it but I have in the past used it going on the internet and surf and check my emails with my laptop and my Nokia phone. Not cheap but possible. You could MSN Messenger with it and anything a normal internet connection could. |
