To be honest, I'm not surprised. The way they did business was always flakey at best.

762330 2009-04-04 21:51:00 I always had alright experiences with them, but when their website changed, I started hearing a whole load of crap about them. I always liked how they had really detailed specs on all the items, and a really wide range. Prices weren't too bad either. Netsukeninja (13296)
762331 2009-04-04 21:57:00 I have been following the 2 or 3 threads on this on GP Forums also. I am one of the lucky ones that got my money back (only about $250) but it looks like a lot that have paid direct banking might not be so lucky. The credit card payers might get theirs back if they get onto it soon enough.

I had previously got a couple of things from them and the service was fast and all went smoothly, but the recent purchase there was just too much delay and I felt something was wrong when I got the brush off with emails and phone calls.

I feel sorry for those who just might end up out of pocket. I guess they will not be the last business in the country to fail, but deliberately taking orders when they knew they were failing and had no intention of supplying is real bad IMHO.

It is nice to see a few other companies trying to help the ones that got ripped off.

762332 2009-04-04 22:12:00 They were always ok (back in early 2008 anyway) when it came to buying something - service was generally good and prompt. Trying to get a warranty claim on anything was another story altogether - the only way to get anything to happen was to put a lot of pressure on them (constant phone calls, regular emails) before they'd even look at it. It was this terrible after-sales service which made me take my business elsewhere. somebody (208)
